My friend bought a Jeep from My Car in Ottawa, He had a good experience. So when he told me about his experience, I went there to see if they had a Dodge Caliber, They had 2, I test drove both and it was really easy to make the decision to take the 2010 dodge caliber. Erik Lloyd was the sales guy, he is very good at his job, he was not pushy or trying to make me buy something that I didn't want to, he was very helpful and knowledgeable about the cars ( he also bought me a coffee on the test drive) when I picked up the car it was really clean like new, the rust mod was put in and the windows were tinted like I was promised. I would also like to thank Marcel who was very helpful and knowledgeable, he broke down every part of the buying process and he explained everything very well. I would like to thank Erik Lloyd, Marcel and the manager in the Ottawa location of My Car for making this car buying experience the best I have ever had.

The service I received from start to finish was nothing less than excellent. There were no hidden surprises, and no high pressure sales tactics. Erik and Charbel made sure that I found a vehicle and financing plan that fit my neds perfectly. I actually ended up with a newer, more beautiful car than I was originally interested in, at a price that fit my budget. I test drove vehicles on Friday, and drove my beauty home on the following Monday.

Last Saturday I went in to MyCar to look for my first vehicle. I wasn't entirely sure what I was looking for and wasn't sure what to expect with it being my first time looking at purchasing a car.  It was my first time buying a vehicle and MyCar made it easy and fun. From the first test drive to the transfer of the ownership everything was very simple. The few concerns that I did have about the condition of the vehicle they assured me that they would be repaired and when I picked up the truck everything they promised me was done,  I will definitely recommend My car to my friends.

In January of 2010, i bought a 2006 pontiac torrent, my sales man, Matt, was very good and seemed very sincere, as was the finance man Marcel.  I picked up the vehicle, and it was detailed to look tlike the day it came off the assembly line.  I drove home, and went to work, i started the vehicle after my 10hr day at work, and the engine light came on...the next morning i took the car to a local GM dealer where i was presented with a $1000 repair bill, after having to pay a $75 diagnostic fee.  I called mycar, set up an appointment for a stalling problem. i spoke to a manager and he said he would make it right...they returned the car with a full tank of gas, minus the gas to and from Mycar, and the out of pocket cost of the diagnostic.  After my displease with this vehicle, i was never given the option to return the vehicle as advertised.

About a month ago my 22 year old son bought his first car and it was from from My Car.  Not only were they great people to deal with, his car was delivered with such great detailing and on time.  We had a small concern and the Manager dealt with it in a honest and very approachable manner.  We are both very pleased that my sons first time buy was with this wonderful group of people.  I would recommend this group to everyone.  I know I will be going back for my own purchase.

A wonderful experience puchasing a 2007 Ford Escape. We bought a Silverado about 1 1/2 months ago from them, very good price,best in Canada, They prep the car like if it was bought new. Service is amazing, they repair everything on it and then some. We had problems with it , took it back for service, they repaired all the things with NO HASSLE.

Salesman are friendly and atmosphere is great, (no coffee machine though, hint hint Mr manager) after sales is also very good, A1+, I been many places before that after a sale they don't care about you, well not there!! They won't rest until you are satisfied.

We were so satisfied that we just bought a second car from them. Erik is who with dealt with, very nice, no pressure guy. He lets the prices and product sell itself.

I recently purchased a car from MyCar.  I was unsure if the dealership was open so I called to see.  A very friendly Erik Lloyd answered.  He was more than happy to answer any of my questions.  When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted by friendly staff.  When it came to test driving the vehicle I was able to take as long as I wanted and try as many vehicles as I wanted.  Once I decided on a vehicle I mentioned a scratch on the vehicle.  Erik came out to look at the car with me and find any other imperfections, assuring me that they would all be fixed at delivery.  When I picked up the car he again came out with me to show me that everything that was promised was done.  I was very impressed by the friendly, lower pressure atmosphere.  I would recommend MyCar to friends.

Shopping for a car can be a hassle. My vehicle had long ago become unreliable. I am not knowledgeable about cars and have always been a bit suspect of sales people and   I didn't want to bother busy friends to help with research I didn't have the time to do myself. A chance visit to My Car (Richmond Location) produced amazing results! The maze of model, make, colour and option choices became easy after my sales rep Jim Morphy asked  a few quick knowledgeable questions. He was able to direct me to  several options that reflect where, when, how and why I drive. I have recently purchased a Pontiac G5 from MyCar (Richmond Location).  I am attending college, and this is my first purchase.  After visiting multiple dealerships with incompetent salepersons (one tried to sell me a car with no A/C on the hottest day of the year, and the other tried to sell me a standard after I specified I could only drive automatic), we decided to visit MyCar.  When we walked in we recieved a friendly greeting from ERIK LLOYD.  We were treated in a nice, competent, and friendly manner by both Erik, and the sales manager, MARCEL TRINAISTICH.  I found four really nice cars at great prices and finally decided on the Pontiac G5, for a great price.  We asked for snow tires to be included in the price, and we got those too! I bought my mazda3 at mycar and i couldnt be happier. They made everything so easy they anserwed any questions they had, and being a younger student they treated me with respect. Eric was my salesperson and i dont think i could have bought it without him, he let me know as soon as the mazda3's came in and tried his very best to find me the perfect car. My name Earl. I normally would not be doing anything like this but dealing with MYCAR I am happy to do so. As you should know I am 55 yrs and driving since I was 16. I bought my first car at 19 I have had a lot of experience good and bad with different dealerships over the years.

 In all my years I have never experienced a car dealership that will go out of their way to make customers happy. That is in my case doing expensive work on my car after the MYCAR warranty is over, I mean months not days. I know that this would never happen with the other dealerships I dealt with. Right from James (my salesman) to the management that are always there to help I always feel a calmness and definitely a feeling that my auto problems will be dealt with immediately.

Bottom line my fellow auto owners. Take the ride out to Richmond, only then you will see this dealership is positively different from other. O YES one other thing, There service manager is Mike.                         As a father of 3 young children (4 years,2 years and 1 month respectively),I impressed upon Matt the importance of delivering to me a family vehicle that was safe  and without mechanical defect.Matt was sincere in his promise to personally follow through to ensure the vehicle exceeded the safety standard.Matt ensured that the car received new brakes and tires and that all saftey aspects were thoroughly checked.

                         This attention to detail ended up being of the utmost importance.Unfortunatley,only a couple of weeks after taking delivery of our new car,my wife and 3 children were in an extremely serious motor vehicle accident on the Hunt Club bridge.My wife and daughter did sustain injuries,however thankfully both will recover fully with time.With such a serious accident ,the police sized the vehicles involved to perform accident recreation and mechanical inspection.The police were able to confirm that our vehicle had no  mechanical defects.I have no doubt that the high quality vehicle delivered by My Car Online contributed to ensuring the safety of my family.For that,I want to personally thank Matt and My Car for your diligence and high standard of service.

I just wanted to acknowledge the staff in North Bay in particular salesman Al Atkins and Dennis who helped with the finances.  Between them I was able to get the model I wanted along with the options and more for the price I was comfortable with. 

Every time I entered the building I was always greeted by other member of the staff that were there at the time and found it a very comfortable environment with the stress one goes through in purchasing a car.  Once the finances were approved my car was ready the following day.

The aftersale proved just as pleasant when I had a small problem with the car a few weeks later.  When I called the manager ( Cary.. I hope I spelled it right) took over, arranged to have the car looked at the following day, problem solved.

Buying a car is very stressful as I mentioned above but I do recommend giving the people at the North Bay branch a visit first, you may not have to go anywhere else.

Our experience with MyCar and Shivaun Lehmann

We were referred toMyCar by our trustworthy car mechanic and directed to deal with Shivaun Lehmann. From our first contact, we were impressed with Shivaun. She listened to our needs and arranged to have over 1/2 a dozen vehicles cleaned and ready for our inspection and test drive. We selected a vehicle within an hour and asked about the installation of certain features we wished to have put into the car: heated front seats and a remote starter. Arrangements were made to have heated seats at no additional cost! And this work was flawlessly done. A high end remote starter system was installed and we were only charged the dealer's cost! All this work was done within the allocated time as promised by Shivaun. We were provided a loaner vechicle by MyCar for a full week without any cost to us which was very much appreciated. During our entire dealing with Shivaun, we found Shivaun to be very personable, very professional, she provided us with first class service and did everything to give us what we wanted. We would not hesitate to deal with Shivaun when looking for our next car or van and would recommend all our friends and family to her without reservation. Shivaun is deserving of a 5 STAR rating. We are awaiting for some car work to be completed as part of our purchase agreement. We are hopeful that the service department is on par with the sales department. We have been disappointed with other car dealerships that promised much in post sale service work only to overcharge for substandard work. I intend to post our experience with MyCar's service department. If the service and work is anywhere comparable to our experience with Shivaun, this is one impressive car dealership.

I just purchased a 3 year old Mazda 3 Sports from MyCar in Richmond. The sales person (politically correct, eh ?) I will mention by name, was James Murphy. This was the most pleasant buying experience I have ever had, for car, house, those big ticket items that make one nervous about spending (the banks) money. He was friendly, let me take the car for a long drive (on my own - trust), fun to deal with (we split the cost of new steel rims and winter tyres AND I got new tyres on the existing rims - a perfect deal for both sides). The car is in near perfect condition and VERY competitively priced (modesty forbids me posting it, but private e-mails are always answered). I HIGHLY recommend this no hassle experience to anyone thinking of buying a used car and dealing with James (I imagine that other sales staff share his approach).

They will correct without any hassle any problem that may come up as they are determined to have an excellent name in a usual shody business. It is a pleasure to deal with a Used car dealer who does not pressure you into something that the salesman wants to sell but they have a sincere concern to provide the desired vehicle and also have a full service reasonably priced Service Facility. I bought my second Saturn from My Car and could not be better pleased with everything. They also provide you with some great coupon deals for future savings on service. Hope they continue with such a great business plan as they will be sure to suceed. Now in our present rush to make the bottom line it is impossible to get good service and you feel that you are being taken advantage of in most businesses. It is never the case with My Car. I am a mechanic at a large GM dealership in Ottawa and I purchased my car from MyCar in Richmond. And all I can say is that it was the best experience I have ever had buying a car. I brought it back to my shop and went over it with a fine tooth comb. I tried my best to pick the vehcle apart. 06 Chevy Equinox, The brakes had about a year left of driving and I mentioned it to the sales girl there and she told me that the car had just come in and the had not yet been able to safety the vehicle. When i picked it up, it drove like a brand new one and i saved $20,000 when compared to buying it brand new. From what i have heard around town is that this company is outselling everybody right now. I paid $12,995. The same vehicle at the dealership i work for is $17,995 and the salesman here grind me about buying elsewhere.?? I have now referred customers and friends to Mycar and several of them have brought the cars here for me to inspect and all of them have been just as pleased as I have been with the service!
